A wish to keep Randers harbours industrial heritage and identity, has been the main focus for me in this assignment.
My wish was to create a new Randers harbour. With roots in the industrial atmosphere, I wanted to create new and contrasting buildings, which in shape and character would provide a contrast to the squared dockside buildings.
A blanket of green invasion covers the new buildings, and creates new cityspace on plateus, levels and in corners and hereby creates an even bigger contrast to the existing industrial buildings.
The roadscape of the harbour is preserved in its current form, which means there isn't any specific road, but it arises from the surplus area between the builidings.
